Who we are

This website is run by CK Matkali s.r.o., Korunní 2569/108, 101 00 Prague 10, Czech Republic, Company ID 23637935 (the “controller”). You can reach us at jan.miracky@matkali.cz or +420 737 382 203.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, because the law does not require one for a company of our size.

What we collect through the inquiry form

Your name, your email address, the country or state you tell us, and whatever you write in your message, including details about your group and your travel plans.

We use it only to answer you and, if you ask for one, to prepare a trip proposal. The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Who processes it for us

Resend delivers the emails the form sends. Hostinger hosts this website. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is filled in by a person and not a bot. Each of them works for us under a data processing agreement.

Resend and Cloudflare are US companies. Where your data leaves the EU, it is protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

If your inquiry does not lead to a booking, we delete it within 2 years. If you book a trip, your data becomes part of your travel contract and is kept as described in Annex 2 below.

Analytics without cookies

We count visits with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that runs on our own server. It sets no cookies, does not store your IP address and does not follow you to other websites. That is why this site has no cookie banner.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own. Cloudflare Turnstile may use technical data in your browser, only to tell people from bots.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, to correct it or delete it, to restrict its use, or for a copy in a portable format, and you can object to how we use it. Write to jan.miracky@matkali.cz.

You can also complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, www.uoou.gov.cz).

Booked a trip? How we handle your contract data

This is Annex 2 to our travel contracts. It covers the personal data we need to run your trip, exactly as it appears in your contract.
